GREEN, Bessie Hanks - Putnam

Bessie Green, 74, Wesley Manor Retirement Home, Frankfort, died suddenly Friday morning at the home.  Born in Putnam County to John and Alberta Reeves Hanks, she was a 50-year member of the Greencastle Presbyterian Church.  She is survived by a son, James L. Green, Noblesville and two grandsons, Dr. John W. Green stationed in Germany, and Kurt J. Green, Stanford, Conn and a sister.  Her husband, Lysle Green died in 1967.  Services were held Sunday in Greencastle with burial there.  Pallbearers from Noblesville include Manson Church, Felix Cook, Donald Garrison and Peter Mariani. - kbz
